How to make hold, quarantine and reject tags

One word, as big as the label allows, white on black — then the reason, the name and the date, and a matching set made by duplicating the first.

Steps

Start a 4" × 2" label

New label → Roll / thermal → 4x2.
One word, filling the top half

Quarantine, hold or reject, centred and bold, with White text on black turned on. On a thermal printer that is a solid burn — properly black and visible across a room.
Add "REASON:" and "BY:" underneath

Add an auto date

So the tag stamps itself. A hold tag with no reason and no name is how stock sits in a corner for six months.
Make the set

Save it, then Duplicate it in the Library and change the word for hold and reject. Three files, same layout, and everybody recognises the shape of them.
