How to make price tags and shelf-edge labels
A 1.5" × 1" price tag with a UPC-A barcode, and the same information in a 3" × 1" shelf strip.
Steps

Start a 1.5" × 1" label
New label → Roll / thermal → 1.5x1.

Name small, price enormous
Product name at the top, price in the middle as big as the label allows. Nobody has ever complained that a price was too easy to read.

Add the retail barcode
Add a barcode at the bottom and set Type to UPC-A, then enter the 12 digits. Put a letter in and LabelVault tells you it cannot encode it, which is much better than finding out at the till.

Use Code 128 for internal codes
If the code is yours rather than a retail one, Code 128 takes anything.

Make the shelf strip
A 3" × 1" label with the name on the left, the price big on the right, and your internal code small in a corner for whoever restocks.
