How to use Owners: mark whose login is whose (people and companies)
Turn on Owners to tag each credential with a person or a company — a spouse, staff, a client, your employer — and filter the vault by them.
Short answer: Turn on Owners in Settings → General (or tick "Other people's logins live here too" during setup). An Owners list appears in the sidebar: click + to add A person or A company, then pick the Owner on each credential. Click an owner in the sidebar to see everything of theirs.
Steps

Switch Owners on
Settings → General → Owners ("Mark whose credential is whose — a person or a company — and filter by them") → On. Switching it off later only hides the list; nothing is deleted.

Add an owner
In the sidebar, click + next to Owners (tooltip "Add a person or a company"). Choose A person or A company, type the Name, and optionally an Email, a Color and Notes. Click Add Person or Add Company.

Give a credential an owner
Open or create an entry and pick from the Owner list ("No owner" by default). Save.

Filter by owner
Click a name under Owners to show only their credentials; All owners shows everything again. On an entry, the owner chip also opens everything of theirs.

Import with owners
CSV Import / Export has an Assign to list for imported rows and, in version 1.6.3 or later, reads a Person column and matches it to owners by name.

Edit or remove an owner
Click the pencil next to a name to edit it. Delete asks "Remove this owner? Their credentials are kept." — the credentials stay, just without an owner.
Worth knowing
- If you ticked "Other people's logins live here too" in setup, you were added as the first owner automatically.
- Owners are labels inside one vault; everyone shares the master password. To give someone their own private vault, create a separate vault for them (New Vault on the vault picker), or share a project in Developer Mode.
- Owners sync with the vault like everything else.
Questions
- Can I keep my family's passwords in one KeysWalletWatch vault?
- Yes. Turn on Owners and add each person; tag each login with its owner and filter by name. Anyone who has the master password can see everything in the vault.
- What is the difference between an owner and an account?
- An owner is whose credential it is (a person or company). An account groups all the credentials for one company or service, like every login and key for your bank.
