How to make a pallet label
A 4" × 6" pallet label has one job: be readable from across a warehouse. One enormous number, small supporting detail, a tall barcode, and two copies.
Steps

Start a 4" × 6" label in portrait
New label → Roll / thermal → 4x6.

Put the number people look for at the top, enormous
Add a text item, centre it, and raise the point size until it fills the top third. If it is not readable from ten feet away it is not doing its job.

Add the supporting detail underneath
One text item with description, lot and quantity on separate lines at a normal size. Nobody reads these from a distance.

Add a tall, wide barcode
Across the bottom, with plenty of empty space around it. A scanner gun pointed from an angle is far more forgiving of a tall barcode than a short one.

Print two
Set Copies to 2 and put one on each of two adjacent sides, so it can be read whichever way the pallet is facing.
