How to print on Avery sheets
Pick the Avery product number, print a test page on plain paper, and start part way down a sheet you have already used.
Steps

Start from the product number
New label → Avery sheets, and type the number from the box — 5160, 5395 and so on. The layout, margins and gaps come from the catalogue, so there is nothing to measure.

Design one label
You are designing a single label. LabelVault repeats it across the sheet when it prints.

Test on plain paper
Print one copy on plain paper and hold it against a real sheet up to the light. It takes a minute and saves a page of wasted labels.

Use a partly used sheet
In the Print window, click the first unused label on the sheet preview — or set "Start at label #" — and printing begins there instead of the top-left.

Remember that copies means sheets
On a sheet layout, Copies is the number of sheets, not the number of labels.
