How to add a second PC to a synced vault (pairing code and approval)
Generate an 8-character pairing code on a PC that has the vault, enter it under Join Synced Vault on the new PC, and approve the request. Codes last 5 minutes.
Short answer: On the PC that already syncs, open Settings → Sync and click Generate Code, and leave that window open. On the new PC, click Join Synced Vault on the vault picker, enter the code and a device name, and click Request Access. Approve the request on the first PC, then unlock the vault on the new one with the same master password.
Steps

Install KeysWalletWatch on the new PC
Install as usual. On the Welcome screen do not create a new vault — click "Already have a vault? Open it" to reach the vault picker.

Generate a pairing code on the first PC
On a PC that already has the vault: Settings → Sync → Add Device → Generate Code. A code like ABCD-1234 appears with "Expires in 5 min". It works once. Keep this Settings window open — the approval request will appear right under the code.

Start the join on the new PC
On the vault picker click Join Synced Vault. Leave Relay Server URL as it is (https://sync.keyswalletwatch.com unless you run your own relay), type the Pairing Code, name This Device (e.g. "My Laptop"), and optionally a Vault Name. Click Request Access.

Approve it on the first PC
The new PC shows "Waiting for the other device to approve…". On the first PC, "<device name> wants to sync" appears under the code. Click Approve (or Deny if you do not recognise it).

Let it download
The new PC shows "Approved — downloading the vault…", then adds the vault to its list and says it is on this device.

Unlock with the same master password
Click the vault and unlock it with the vault's master password — the same one as on the first PC. The vault arrives encrypted; the password never travels.

Activate your key on this PC
In Settings → License, activate the same license (or trial) key. One key covers five computers, and it is what lets this PC's own changes upload.
Worth knowing
- Settings → Sync → Paired Devices lists every device on the vault with its last sync. The bin icon next to one revokes it (Revoke? Yes).
- The code expires after 5 minutes and can be used once. If it runs out, click Generate Code again.
- Do not use Set Up on the second PC — that starts a separate sync of a separate vault. If you do, the Sync tab warns that the vault already syncs and points you to Join Synced Vault.

- How do I sync KeysWalletWatch to another computer?

- My pairing code says expired. What now?
- Codes last 5 minutes and work once. Generate a new one and enter it promptly, with the first PC's Settings → Sync window still open so you can approve.
- Can I pair without the first PC?
- No. A new device always needs approval from a device that is already in. That is what stops someone with only your license email from getting your vault.
