How to start the free trial and activate a license key
Request the 30-day trial key from inside the app, paste it in, and later activate the license key you bought — one key covers up to five computers.
Short answer: Open Settings → License, click Start free trial, enter your email and click Email me a trial key. Paste the key from the email into the Enter license key box and click Activate. When you buy, a license key (BE-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX) is emailed to you and goes in the same box.
Steps

Open the License tab
Click the gear icon at the bottom of the sidebar, then License. The top line shows where you stand: Not activated, Free trial, Licensed, Trial ended or License no longer valid.

Request a trial key
Click Start free trial, type your email address and click Email me a trial key. The app confirms "We emailed a 30-day trial key to …". Nothing is charged and no card is asked for.

Activate the trial
Copy the key from the email, paste it into Enter license key and click Activate. The trial runs 30 days from this moment, with everything unlocked, including cloud sync for 2 vaults.

Buy a license when you are ready
Click Buy a license. It opens the KeysWalletWatch page on beckhamenterprises.com: $24.99 once, up to five computers, every update included. Pay by card; the key is shown on the thank-you page and emailed to you.

Activate the license
Paste the BE-… key into Enter license key and click Activate. The app says "Licensed — thank you". Use the same key on each of your other computers, up to five.

Check the license any time
The round-arrow button on the License tab ("Check with the license server now") re-checks straight away — useful after buying sync, which attaches to your key.
Worth knowing
- Without a key, a new install can add and edit for 30 days. After that the vault stays readable: you can still view, copy and export everything; only editing waits for a trial or license key.
- One trial per computer. If the trial email did not arrive, check spam, or click Resend trial key.
- Manage my computers opens the license portal, where you can see which computers use your key and sign one out.
- When the app checks its license it sends the product, version, operating system and an anonymous machine id — nothing from your vault.

- How long is the KeysWalletWatch free trial?
- 30 days from the moment you enter the trial key, with everything unlocked including sync for 2 vaults. No card is needed.
- How many computers does one license cover?
- Up to five. Activate the same key on each; to use it on a sixth, sign one out first (Settings → License → Sign out this computer, or in the license portal).
- Does the license expire?
- No. It is a one-time purchase that never expires, and every update is included. Only cloud sync is paid by the year, and it is optional.
